The purpose of conducting on-the-job experience training during the rehabilitation of the Academic Staff and Servicemen/Servicewomen (SM/SW) toilets at the Academic Area is to equip trainees with practical plumbing skills, technical knowledge, and professional competence through active participation in real-life maintenance and rehabilitation works.
The project involved the rehabilitation of the water storage tank, restoration of water supply to the toilet facilities, reinstallation of flushing cisterns, wash hand basins, and repair of associated plumbing systems. Through this practical exercise, trainees were able to apply classroom knowledge in an actual work environment while improving institutional sanitation facilities.
